2nd Season with Dortmund. After winning Bundesliga on the 1st season, Weidenfeller played awesome, I saw akinfeev on a free, he is better stat wise than weidenfeller but he does not know the Language and he will have trouble settling in.
He will eventually learn to speak german but it may take over a year, especially if he have problems settling in a new country, the only thing you can do is playing him along your first team in competitive matches this way he wont be unhappy about home sickness or other garbage. You can also buy a player with same nationality/language, however, this method only buys you some time before you have to start playing him regulary.
