No mention of Javi Martinez? xD He can't be bought, though, but would be excellent for this role.

Looks brilliant. Might try and incorporate into my liverpool tactic which I'm always tweaking.

Might try and do this with Liverpool, what do you reckon would be best wiht this, 4-3-3 or 3-5-2
Suarez had one **** of a season scoring 28 in the league, his partner in crime Sturridge not as good, but i have Lewandowski coming in on a free, preferebly i would like to play both of em as strikers, but maybe Suarez would do (almost) as good as an IF on one of the wings?

I did say 'more budget options' haha. Martinez is close to perfect (I'd prefer 15/15 in passing/creativity also but thats just me). Speaking of which, Inigo Martinez can be trained to be a great HB.

I personally use 4-3-3 'cause I think the CWB-A roles are really good. However, I wouldn't be surprised if 3-5-2 could work, though it would probably mean your wingers would need to be brought back to ML and MR rather than AML and AMR.

Cant get the best of both worlds unfortunately :( gonna go with the 4-3-3 approach, what would you make the two cm`s infront of the half back, advanced playmaker and regular cm support?

I bid 65M on Martinez, also declared interest, he was interested in coming, but Bayern just didn't sell, even for 85M. :\

This might seem a daft question but does the engache’ drop into midfield the same way a HB would ?

I've used him in the HB role, and he does one thing that annoys me, he shoots very often. I dunno if he does it because he as no passing lines, but even when he had some, he was shooting very often. Scored 1 goal in 1 season...

I think Nemaja Matic will fit this role very good, but Javi Garcia will turn out to be better, since he's no strange to the CB role.

Yeah an engache is usually very static. Think of Riquelme.
