I am trying to install football manager 07 on my windows 8 laptop but am having trouble getting it installed.
Every time I try and install it I get the message the installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag.
I have updated Java, changed the compatibility settings, ran it as administrator and still no luck.
Does anyone know how to get it installed?
Thanks!

can you post a screenshot of the error please. My gut feeling is that Win8 is too advanced for FM07.
FM07 was designed fro XP; who's source code is not supported by the W8 operating system.

It isnt letting me paste a screenshot but the Installer shield wizard starts to run, it finishes then I get the message the installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag. I once managed to get it working a couple of years ago on a windows 7 computer by installing it with Run and inputting it that way. But I have no idea how to do it this time.
