I'd recommend taking a look on FMHVibe for 'cheats' (they have a config file available to download with all the unlockables unlocked).

With regards to getting a winning streak going - that depends somewhat on the team you're managing ... if you'd care to post that I'll try and help recommend a tactic and some signings for you.
