Ipswich Struggle. Good championship players needed

Hi all.

I started a new career unemplyed with Auto Experience. By October yr 1 I got the job at Chesterfield in League 2. I managed to drag them from 20th up to 9th in that same season, before being offered a position at Ipswich in the Championship. I was delighted. Until I noticed there awful position and not so star filled team. I saved them from relegation ( only just ), and got them to the end of the season one place above relegation. The chairman immediately offered me a 4yr contract.

This is where I need help. With only a 2.5mil budget, I have a small squad (a lot of the team were loans when I took over), but I need to build and attempt to finish mid table. Any ideas who i should buy?

Only player I have signed so far is Ismael Miller. cost me 700k. I was desperate for a striker.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Future Stars would be handy if you know of any that are very cheap and would be interested in joining a low champ side.
