Dunno if this fits into the right category but mods please feel free to move it if needed.

We all knew Cristiano Ronaldo when he was at Manchester United and his ambitions to be the world's greatest footballer. But since his mega-million pound move to sunny Spain, has the Portuguese winger gotten better or wose since his arrival? He has scored nine goals in twelve appearances (according to Wikipedia) and said to be enjoying his football much more.So what do you think? Has he gotten better or worse?

Neither, he's right on top of his game. Unfortunately.

I'd say he's just as good, although I don't think he'll ever be as good as he was in the 2007-2008 season.

He's struggled a bit with injuries and suspension but he is still there top scorer and his goals to game ratio is great. I reckon he's about the same. Don't think he'***** the peaks of the double season for us though.(H)

|) I reckon this is the right section as well mate.

i watched la liga on sky every time its on. the 3 new big guns dont appear to have found a real place in the team yet. kaka looks half the player he was at milan, and benzema has been practically non existant, higuain is keeping him out the team atm.

Ronaldo hasnt looked as terrifying as he did in a united shirt. but he scored 9 goals in 9 games (now 9 in 12) and i guess thats all that counts. hes had a couple of injuries and also a red card and ban, which cant have helped the settling in process

I don't know if you can compare half a season at Madrid with 2-4 seasons at United. We'll have to see but I reckon his prime was at United.

That's a good point.

Let's not forget Higuaín is world f-ing class! I want him so bad :(

he's missed a lot through injury or suspension, it's too early to say.

You should add another option to the poll, i really think he has stayed at the same level of performance.:S

Interesting view, personally, I think were yet to see the best of him, still got plenty of years ahead of himself.

I don't think there's a significant amount of improvement to make him one of the world's best,he already is amongst that band of elite players.

I would say, that he hasn't gotten any better but he also didn't get worse. Although I do think he isn't worth the money Real Madrid paid for him. Anyway he is an awesome player and I think to really answer your question we will have to wait untill the World Cup begins, because then the real stars shine.(H)

Ofc Real Madrid will be getting loads of merchandising fees, and I can know because I play FM and thats just like in RL..(H)

Or maybe not?

I think hes pretty much the same, its hard to say if someone has improved over 6 months really.

Made up your mind?

He's awesome now, and he was awesome before.

Therefore, it stands to reason that he's not upgraded or downgraded.

I only voted worse because he couldn't really get better after a the 07-08 season. I'm sure he will do great at Madrid once he settles fully but it takes time to adjust to a new club

Its an all too similar situation as David Beckham.
Prime at United.
Worse at Madrid.

What's this, suspensions don't count as to how well he's playing? if you're losing valuable playing time through suspensions you're not doing as you should.

And he's not been as good i think, feel like his prime was his years at Manchester United. But like many others say, too early to really say.
