I'm perfectly happy with FM 2010 and could do just fine with playing it until FM 2011 becomes a bit cheaper (6 months maybe?). However, I've found a place where you can get it for about $30. Therefor I'm wondering wether or not I should just purchase it now so I can enjoy it today? :)

You shouldnt even be asking this question

If you like FM you get FM11

Simples :)

If you're still enjoying FM10 and have a good game going then there's no rush to go out and buy 2011.

I agree with Lee. The differences are obviously in 2011, but I don't see a **** of a difference to be fair. If your enjoying 2010, stick with it for a bit longer!

What Lee said basically, play the demo and if you enjoy it enough and can afford it, go for it.

without a doubt it's worth it...
this is the best £25-30 quid you can spend....there's nothing out there to match this game.

I'm still playing Fm10, partly because I don't have any money at the moment to buy Fm11, but also I'm enjoying my current save.

Hopefully I'll be getting 11, towards the end of the week.

whut?

I disagree with most opinions, I think the differences present are worth the money. It might be me, personally I was fairly bored of FM10 by the time the 11 demo came out, so was excited for the new one.

I do understand the popular view that not thaaatt much has changed, but if you're a keen FM fan you'll notice and appreciate the new features :) If you have the money there and 10 starts to lose its charm, definitely worth it IMO

But should I do that just because it's a new FM or because it's a better FM? ;)

It's better. MUCH better match engine, for starters. Agent negotiations, dynamic league rep and more realistic transfer markets all add to the depth of the game.

Hmm... I think I'm gonna sit on the fence for a little while and continue my current save on 2010 :) I worked very hard on it and it's just to good to throw away. I have usually been 2-3 months behind schedule when a new FM has arrived :) In that time people will have made up a their mind about the game and the prices have usually dropped a bit.

In the words of Danny Dyer..

'Course it facking is!'
