Is it me, Or is the site realllly slow?

The other sites i am on seem to be going quite fast.

Yeah it is, it is due to the huge amount of people who have been coming on the site since the release of Football Manager 2011

It's slow because of the amount of newbies that always join on release day. There's probably thousands of people online rather than the usual 5/600 people (could be wrong).

Give it a few weeks for release to die down etc and it will be back to normal

The new game has just been released, we have had a record number of new members signing up, everyone wants help/downloads. The site running slow was to be expected, its like this every time the new game is released.

Yesterday we had a new record for most users online.

Getting pig sick of these threads.

Over the weekend our usage has been through the roof, our visitor and download rates top the official forums. If you want to contribute to an even better server then be our guest.

I can understand if the premium members got upset because they are contributors to the site but the majority of people moaning have no right to do so.

If you don't like it, **** off...which ironically enough would help the speed.
