Is it feasible to create your own player in FM 2014? Using an editor or something? And if so can someone please show me the instructions for doing so.

Yes, it is. Go to the editor (the one for the database, not the game itself) and click on the players subtab. Then, in the bottom right, click on create player and fill in your details as if you were a normal player.
