Is it possible to recreate the Di Maria?Ronaldo positioning Ancelotti does?

When attacking Ronaldo becomes a Left Forward and Di Maria takes the Left wing and when defending Ronaldo goes wider and Di Maria goes back to hos B2B/CM(A) position


I guess i could tell Di Maria to run with the ball and make Ronaldo ''sit narrower and get further forward'' but im not sure if that will work
