Hi,

FM 2010 is the second version of FM I've played. I've played them for season after season, but every time my team gets worse and worse eventually leading to relegation and the inevitable sack. I've tried a variety of tactics training schedules buying and selling and loaning, Concentrating on backrrom staff, players, and formations, none of which have worked.

My question is fairly simple, is it possible to succeed using strategies which would work "in real life" or is the "cheat" method of finding the "superstar players" the only way to play the game (I don't want to know how to do it, only if it's possible as I'm not a fan of simulation games which are unrealistic),

I believe you can succeed easily without cheating you just gotta know what your doing.

I personally use Genie Scout but just because you sign a very good player for a good price doesn't make you a good manager it's knowing how to use them.

Check out Tactical Theorems '10 and that will teach you all you need to know about the tactical side if the game.

Well firstly, if you are not a fan of simulation games why are you playing FM? XD

Football Manager is very easy to find success in, with or without cheating - if you had given us more information then I would allow this to stay open to other members could help you but it seems more like you are just moaning.
