Is Pogba really worth £80m?

1st season and Juve have accepted £30m up front, £20m over 48 months and Petr Cech thrown in. With all that and wages of 180k p/w it comes to about £80m. Is it worth it? Does he perform well? Which role suits him best?
 
Would not pay that much when you can get Koke for about 50m and is just as good if not better and has been a beast for me in my Utd save!
 
Pogba? Yes. I've managed both Koke and Pogba, and hands down - he's the best CM ingame. He's a ****** beast as a DLP on defend, and also has a mean long shot. They're different types of roles - Koke is a beast as a CM - Attack, while Pogba is a beast at pretty much everything.
 
well seeing has i had to pay 200m for him infm14 then 80 is a steal
 
Btw, if you wait until the second season, you can get Pogba for around 100 M $, which is an excellent deal.
 
Thanks guys. It is only really a £50m fee as I would never use Cech plus i've never ever managed to get him before in any FM so I'm gonna go for it. Regarding Koke, I think he is purchasable in the future when, in my experience, I can never get Pogba later on as his value further increases. I already have Matic so him alongside Pogba gets me hard!! ;)
 
I actually bought Pogba for 80M quid in the start of my second season with Arsenal and I can only say go for it. He's one of the absolute best players in the game as far as I'm concerned. Koke is good, might perform just as well in some roles but Pogba can play all roles you can assign a CM to as well as all DM roles. And do them better than almost anyone else. He's got great defensive stats, great attacking stats and the main thing for me: he's simply a star. Huge signing, IMO.

So to put it short: YES!

I play him mostly as a BWM in CM. Mainly because I have so many AMC's that Özil is forced to be CM and he's doing really well there as a DPL. Otherwise I would pair Pogba e.g. with Lucas Romero as BWM and have Pogba as a roaming playmaker.

OMG... Had it all agreed and then Juventus offer him a mega contract to stay and he did. I tried negotiating for Koke. Had a £30m plus Cech and Mikel accepted but he wanted 300k p/w and about £15m in addons so I declined. Are there any other players similar to Pogba? Like a big, strong box-to-box Yaya Toure-like destroyer who is also good technically? I've scouted Imbula who looks similar but no way near as good.
 
In my personal opinion no player is worth £80M you can always find someone who can do a good as good for such less money.
 
I signed him for PSG third season for around 50 million.
 
He's worth what ever your willing to pay for him. I managed to get him for £45 mil in 2018/19 when he was 25, he's in his 2nd season with me and he's been great. Him and Tielemans are by far the 2 best non regens in my save for the CM spot.
