Is the new update worth getting?

Is the new update essential/worth getting? I have never updated any fm game before but was just wondering if it's worth getting?
 
You don't have a choice... Steam will have already updated your game.
 
You do have a choice yes, to not get update simply set steam offline then nothing downloaded, but getting it fixes bugs and problems with the game so i always get it myself personally.
 
If you have the choice, don't get it just yet. It introduced far more bugs than there were.
 
Okay I'll hang fire for a moment then.

When I do download it, will it affect my current saved games?

Well, yeah, but I mean, who chooses to play in offline mode.

Well done, you took the advice of a complete random FM base member over SI's.. Do you really think they would have released a patch that 'introduced far more bugs than there were' considering all that the update consisted of was bug fixes? Use your brain, dude.

And, no.
 
It didnt introduce far more bugs. Lets just get that clear
 
Well let me rephrase then. For me personally I've noticed more bugs than I did with previous patch. Does that mean there are more? No. Are they more noticable for me? Yes.
 
To be honest, any bugs I noticed before are now deceased. If anything it's made the game better, especially when you can choose whatever club you want to be a feeder club, and the team talks have more realistic reactions from the players too. Tbh haven't noticed one bug at all-and I'm very finicky when looking for them lol.

So by all means don't update. But don't rant about any bugs on Post Your Frustrations ;)

I checked the forums and they were already all reported:
Jadedness: after 2 matches half of the team needs a rest and stats drop
Team talks: seem to be less effective
Parent/Feeder clubs: having the possibility to ask for a parent club even though I'm 4th biggest club in the world.
Player histories: some regen histories have disappeared
Home-grown status: players not becoming club trained (15-21) regardless of nationality
 
first two arent even bugs, as confirmed by SI
jadedness, the bug was that you werent actually getting the jaded icon. this has been fixed for 12.1
team talks, again deliberate and asked for, check the FM difficulty thread
other three are issue, but small ones.

certainly not far more bugs than before.
 
Well then I find it extremely inplausible that 3 players get jaded during summer recess
