Is the stat reduction from large injuries irreversible?

Well, I signed Javi Garcia, who broke his leg and is now rated as hardly playable and with no potential increase. He's 27 and was previously predicted to be a key player... bit disappointed if he can't recoup his quality =/

It's unfortunate but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a permanent thing. Not many players can come back form a bad injury: Look at what happened to Arsenal's Eduardo.

He came more-less back, plays regularly at Shakhtar and scoring goals, also scored 2 goals in his I think second last match for Croatia(not minding the 5 min. against Turkey)

Well Falcao from At Madrid got a broken leg a season ago and he still looks awful compared to his original stats =/ looks like I may have to shift Javi...

Don't get me wrong, Eduardo is still a fantastic player, but he never quite regained the heights he was at before his injury. Still a great player, but think of how good he would have been.
