Is there any point of having scouts?

I just started a new game with arsenal and they have 15 scouts each on £900 - £6000 a week. So i was wondering to save some money could i sack them them all apart from 1 or 2 of the best. and would it actually effect me? I do my own scouting and i do use the scout reports but surely i don't need 15 of them for that?

I was wondering do you guys use them? or do you just sack them to save money?

15 is probably too many. I assume you are playing as Arsenal? I would keep a decent number of them though. Otherwise you will reduce your scouting knowledge - which will affect your manual searches. 5-7 is a good number IMO.

I usually try and build a big team of scouts with different nationalities. Plus if you have more scouts, you could have one in each region and one in each competition available to scout.

Have to agree with Mr T, if your board will allow it, maximise the number. You can have the one or two that you always consult but having many of varying nationalities placed around the globe is always gonna benefit your team
