I've been downloading a lot of peoples tactics on FM11, but got bored of doing it on the game, so I've decided to create my own.
Formation:

It's a 4-1-1-2-2, using my adaptation on the Nike Defence Theory, same mentality for centre backs (stopper and cover), different for the right and left backs though. I have the defensive midfielder to cut off any counter attacks and sit in the hole. I use the central midfielder as either an advanced playmaker (when I play Steven Gerrard) or as a box-to-box midfielder (when Raul Meireles plays), both in support roles.
Tactic:
NO OPPOSITION INSTRUCTIONS ARE TO BE USED.
NO TOUCHLINE SHOUTS ARE TO BE USED.
Pre-Match Team Talk:
always tell every single player 'you have faith'... always inspires at least one player and makes at least 5 happy/delighted.

Depending on opposition tactics and the quality of the team you're against, possession varies. I managed around 55%-65% each game, but never less than 50% ... Very rarely did I go below 50%.
I've done a complete season already, and started again after finishing testing. I'm currently top of the league, image here.

One of my favourite results considering this Aston Villa team went and beat United and Chelsea in the two weeks prior to my match. Result here:
It's quite a simple tactic, but do not tamper with anything. Only thing I'd say you can have a fiddle with would be the defensive side to my tactic. Also the two strikers... You can change their specific roles, but make sure you have at least one poacher/advanced forward.
THIS IS NOT FULLY TESTED AND FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED.

Set Pieces: You need you're tallest centre back, or the player that has best jumping/heading attributes set to attack the far post (THIS WILL GET YOU A LOT OF GOALS). Adil Rami, my centre back has 23 goals in 32 games in all competitions including 10 in the league: Picture Here
DONE USING PATCH 11.2.1 AND NO FMRTE WAS USED.

Interaction:
Interaction is key to any game on FM11 going successfully, when a player plays well (gets a good rating) interact privately, and tell him how well his last match was or recent form was. I usually do this to my best 2-3 players who rate >8.4 in the match. It improves your relationship and boosts morale too.
