Should I sell James Ward Prowse to Man United for £50m?

I'm in my 3rd season and just qualified for CL. He's disgruntled and wants to move to Chelsea because he wants CL football. He's valued at £27.5m on my game, I have a 17 year old youth academy regen who is PL ready who can step in but not world class like him

What do you think?

50m is a lot of money to say no to. How has Reed developed?

Still I would imagine there are very good players you could replace JWP with for less, however they won't be home grown, which is also something to consider.
I would say if he wants to leave and you are able to get 50m, then you should take it. No point keeping him if he doesn't want to stay.

Yep seems like the better option. Like I mentioned I have an academy player lined up to take over from him.

And that's the story of Southampton, developing young players through the academy and selling them off for nice profits...

Got a question. He isnt developing or doing much in my save as southampton. Where do you play him cm/ am? Role? ? Training? Trying to get more out of him.

If you want a HG replacement see how Louis Reed,Ryan Ledson,Will Hughes and Jordan Rossiter have developed.
