Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

Can you link your Team instructions, mentality etc for me please?

I'd also like to see your tactic/player roles

*cough* read mine *cough*
Sorry about that, I've a cold! :P

But in all seriousness. It's great to see a journeyman save get such attention :)

I have read yours but not 87 pages in one, also because your story wasn't 87 pages long at the time when I began reading it :P but both great stories

It's shorter and won't take as long

P.S. Sorry for hijacking your story Jamie :)

Good win against Hanover.

If your defenders are scoring off corners then there's nothing wrong with that. Center halves are meant to be good in the air and generally pick up quite a few goals from set pieces. I'd leave it if I were you.

Can only apologise for the lack of updates lately! Life is being a FM block at the moment! Planned the weekend with the girlfriend too so it could be until Sunday when I get an update :( I will try to get one in before I see her tonight :D

Daniel Sturridge continued his brilliant form ofr us with a hat-trick today. I rested Schrock for out Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow in a couple of days time. I brought on Scherping and he finished off the game with a brilliant goal rounding the keeper before scoring into the empty net.
We're looking good, 7 games without a loss is a perfect start to our season.

September Review

A great month again. It's a shame we drew the Stuttgart game, but we had some big wins. Highlight of the month will be beating Juventus 2-0 at their ground to start our Champions League group in style.
Here's the table:

We sit top after 7 games. Shalke and Leverkusen are just 3 points behind us. While Bayern are four. We have to travel to the Allianz Arena next, here are October's fixtures:

This month will be a test. In the league we have back to back games with two of the title contenders, will be interesting to see how we cope.

A game which we somehow only just scraped a win. We battered them from start to finish but found ourselves 2-1 down with 10 minutes to go despite them only having 3 shots. We kept going and it finally paid off, with Fred equalising for us and Alaba scoring a lovely goal from range, we deserved to win, but a lot more comfortably.
