Japanese Clubs have no info

Ok so I have downloaded and installed a Japanese database that allows me to play with Japanese clubs down to a regional level. However the history and information tabs you get on the screen in all the other league don't appear in the Japan database. I have even tried creating my own Japanese database but the same thing keeps happening and really want to know if i can fix this as I really want to play in the J league.

Regretfully, it is my understanding that due to the same licensing issues that don't allow the "real Japanese players" in FM, the game is "hard-coded" to not allow those features for Japanese leagues. Global licensing deals really bite the biscuit.

Thanks for the reply, if that is the case looks like I'll be waiting a while to play in Japan properly.

I had also a problem with a J-League database where every japanese club had at least 15 coaching staff on high wages, so I couldn't afford to keep or get rid of them. It's really annoying that they can't get the license to this league, because it's actually one of my favourite leagues
