Javier Hernandez is the best player in the game.

He's a beast. 35 goals in 37 apps for me. Could be better, but I don't really focus on the individual tactics much and I just set him as a poacher with an attacking mid behind him and two playmakers out wide.
 
God knows how people spend so much money on players, even though its just a game i treat it like its coming out my bank accounts lol. Never ever spend 50m on 1 player could build a new squad for that.

On that note just out of curiosity how much would it take to prize him away from united ?
 
I have a regen that scored 70+ a season for 8 seasons running, maxing at 147 which was last season and 109 the season prior to last.

Also excluding regens my max is 75 with Cavani in an Arsenal file, also that being said, i struggle playing against Hernandez, he's so quick.
 
There is no way a player scored 147 goals in a season. Not a chance.
You could literally have the perfect team on FM and still not score that many.
 
no way with the budget you start with you could afford to buy all thos players in your 1st season..

That would be where you're wrong, i take numerous screenshots every season just to prove and keep track of stat increases and everything so i have it all, not to mention he scored 109 last season too.

I asked for his SS once, his stats were amazing. But 147 goals per season, that almost impossible. Nice job.

i must say that is very impressive!! what formation are you using?? does your tactic implement the corner tactic?? not a criticism as i use it also just curious.

nice tactic! i have to say 442 is my favorite formation but i tend to lean towards the more traditional style. the corner trick is where you place your best header to attack the near post. have your best corner taker aim towards the near post when taking corners. everyone else set to lurk outside box. on the previous patch it was a great way to score loads of goals as majority of the time the player on near post would be left unmarked increasing his chances of scoring. however on patch 12.1 this issue seems to have been fixed as alot of players were complaining it made the game unrealistic. it personally never bothered me, i thought it was great fun!!

would it be possible for you to send me your tactic? it would be great to see if i could emulate your success as most i have ever scored was 104 with javier hernandez ( on previous patch using the corner trick )

Oh then yeah i think i do use it, on the corners the majority are set to lurk outside, didn't really notice much as i downloaded the tactics but my striker unfortunately only has 14 headering or he may of been able to get more.
Here is the link to the tactic i use, only used it for the past 2 seasons, did about 12 seasons with Goals Galore/Pure Perfection but since i've changed it due to me having 2 more great strikers i've been scoring ridiculous amounts.

In my current save im half way through my 3rd season and Hernandez is insane. So far 14 games and 29 goals in the pl. Scored several hattricks already.. Thats crazy.
 
hey Liverpool6792, i kind of do the same at corners, but Ive found if you put your two cb's attacking the near post and back post i get more success, the cb's are my best headerers! 18 goals form corners this season already, and the majority from the cb's. just a thought if your striker is only a 14 heading.
