In my arsenal game in my second season a signed him for 33m and a play a 4-2-3-1 and he plays behind van persie but it doesnt matter how much a change his roles or even positions he is worst that a man down and this 20 games played so a thought he would be a important player and a spend most of my transfer budget on him.

He's best at Attacking Mid - Attack with full creative freedom and wide play "move into channels". Dunno if you tried this... Maybe you should give him more time ?
