i have just signed pastore for £35mil i was wondering how good he was! hoping not a total waste of money and an amazing buy i plan to build a team around him and rooney!
 
He's young, amazingly talented and becomes much better, i don't think you wasted your money.
 
yes he's worth the money. amc - attacking mid. (attack)
 
well when he is now out for 4 months lol but hopefully he will be immense next season lol
 
well that sucks lol. he was one time out for 8 months, and i had no replacements for him, so i had to restart the save from the game before :P

then in the second season, he was then our for 3 months. XD, and even my 2nd best attacking mid counhito was out for 5 months. by luck, i managed to get jack wilshere on loan in that period. :P

INJURIES SUCK !!! :P
 
I personally don't rate him.

He has a fairly poor work rate and teamwork, which for me is a big nono in the AMC/MC. As a result of his poor teamwork, he takes a ton of shots when it's obvious the pass would be better, and it doesn't help that his shooting isn't anything to write home about.

Money much better spent on Ganso.
 
Personally I really recommend retraining him to be a winger. He has all the mental, physical, and technical stats to be a best winger in the world.

Think this answers your amc questions about him, regarding the shoot rather than pass?

Mmm never been that good in any of my saves.

Granted, I've never personally trained him. I used him for a few games when I was managing Argentina.
 
Wow how can you manage to sign him from PSG?What season are you in?In FM11 I sign him to City and he's a beast in AMC. He either score/assists in 1 game. Yes he sometimes just dribble and shoot instead of passing but strangely he score quite a lot. But yes I think he's best position is AML inside forward. You must retrain him 1st though

Agree completely. Pastore is an immense winger.

despite his low work rate, that abilities to play killer though ball and as an attacking mid is amazing. i agree ganso is much better, but whats done is done. it cant be reverted.

ps: im managing psg btw :P and he's one of my main players.
 
buy sigurdsson he is a great am will get you 20-30 assists a season and will score goals if played correctly and costs about 7-10mill

Yeh that was my first season with him, played rather well, best i have ever gotten someone to play tbh
 
He won PSG the champions league in my game. Was one of the best players in the world rating wise. His workrate is the only problem and that he probably wastes a lot of chances but he scores some and creates many.
 
I manage PSG for 3 years and Javier is the best player of my team !
he scores about 20 goal and had 20 assists last year, with an average of 7.6 (i will post a screen tonight)
 
Need advice: I'm second season with Athletico Madrid and I see Pastore transfer listed for £8million. Is there a good reason why this should be? I currently play Isco as trequiartista, is Pastore automatic replacement and good for that role?
 
I'd rotate Isco and Pastore, 8mil is steal despite his faults. He's a great player
