In which cause change the tactic ?

I look at team report before a game and check on the next opponent tab. This gives me a breakdown on their formation and style of play.

Pozzo 4-2-3-1 is my default as it suits my starting 11 and offers defensive solidity as well as an attacking threat.
Mario 4-3-1-2 is good when playing away against a better team as it offers number in the middle of the park and the two BBMers help with the full backs against opposition wingers. It's also good as a default if you've got no or poor wingers.
Szebes 4-1-2-2-1 offers lots of support in the middle of the park as the inverted full backs join into midfield, with the wingers provide the width. Is a good alternative if the opposite are loaded with DMs.

In game..
* if I find my Pozzo inverted wingers aren't impacting the game I switch to Szebes (switch the wingers over) and get them going outside.
* If the Pozzo and Szebes lone striker is isolated or up against 3 CBS I switch the Mario and get another body up there in support

Sure, that's what I want! I want suggestions where it's working and not working so I can improve it. I realize it's gonna work for everyone, the one good thing about FM21 is you can't just sit there with a tactic and get results, you need to make in game adjustments and use shouts etc.

Sure, both 4231 and 4312 use the same team instructions.

Both 4231 and 4312 use the player instruction for both CBS - mark tighter
The 4312 has both BBMs player instructions as 'stay wider'

Using the 4321 tactic I went through a season 34-0 with Benfica and in the first 5 years of the game went to the champions league final 3 times (winning twice) with an average squad and small budget.
Using the 4231 tactic I've got Torquay from the national league to League 1 with the 21st budget in the league and signing no players for a fee.

The Benfica invincible season was with Mario 4-3-1-2.

Changed attacking width from extremely high to high
Changed tackling from get stuck in to no box is checked
Changed front 3 attacking players to tackle hard in player instructions
Changed Advanced Forward to Pressing Forward
Changed Goalkeeper distribution to Centre-Backs

Really enjoying this so far as Notts County. We are one of the best teams in the league, but my defenders are shocking, so we do leak quite a few goals. Using the 4231.

Nice! I've found the 4231 the most attacking but for my Boavista save can be leaky against more direct teams with a pacey striker. Trying to find a way of tightening it up. Dropping the defensive line back to 'higher' might be a solution if your CB aren't quick. How are you conceding most goals? Another possibility is changing 'force opposition outside' to 'standard'.
