Say you wanted to do a similar job to what AVB is doing at Chelsea; you wanted to reshape the club and players etc. How much time do you think the board give you if things weren't going your way?
It depends on whether the board is patient or not. Usually, changing slowly is safer, bringing in a couple of players at a time, rather than wholesale changes, as it will reduce the stress on the team to gel as a unit.
