1) who is doing your prep/team talks etc?

2) have a team meeting

3) drop players that are not playing well and start someone else..

4) are you confronting/fining players who are under performing?

I know you might not want to but I can suggest trying this tactic to get a few wins again and get back on track..

This was my game yesterday away from home vs Arsenal using it

ive got myself doing the prep/team talks
ive had team meetings and the player have reacted well, but then failed to perform on the pitch.
ive confronted players but not fined them? does that seem to work?
just set tactics to what youve suggested so ill see what happens :)

Tried that tactic but again still failing to score, having plenty of shots on goal but no end product..

Play other strikers! Don't play your best if they can't perform... Youth strikers and "Backup" strikers normally thrive under the chance to gain 1st team football!

1) From the screenshot you seem to be having severe fitness problems (and/or a very small for the epl and the other comps squad). An unfit team cant compete. If this is the case you need to make your team fitter. Go to the training screen and train fitness for a couple of weeks at least setting the intensity on high/very high. Look at your fitness coaches. Tottenham should have at least two 4.5 stars fitness coaches (such as altamiro bottino - who is also a great physio btw) and you should have at least a couple more with less stars.

2) Raikan makes good tactics which can be v successful esp if tweeked to suit your save. But the best tactics by far are Mr Langvatn's esp his 4411 revitalized thingy. Start using that..

3) To start with dont pick the best players nominally rather the ones with higher rating (ie better form).

4) Raikan is right, fining players does work. I would also have consistent one on one chats pre and post matches at least with key players.

5) I cant stress the value of team talk. The correct team talk (ie ending up with your players looking inspired sometimes) both before the match and at half time makes a big difference. Also opposition instructions are very important. If you have a good assman (someone like Valdir Moraes/Cruijff) have him deal with it but not from preference, through the ask for advice screen. In second halves of matches every 10 minutes pause the match and ask for his opp instruction advice as the other team will make changes which need to be addressed. I had experimental save games where I used the Langvatns tactics and holidayed the match and lost and then reloaded, watched the match doing all of the above and comfortably won.

You should always warn/fine players whenever they play poorly.
Granted, it might make them unhappy...but there's also a chance that it improves their Work Rate. Which in turn makes them slack off less during the matches.
