I've just promoted in the Premier League with Leeds. I am in my forth season. I don't know the amount of money available for transfers but I think it'll be about 7 mil.

so....beeing in 2011, and having around 7 mil for transfers, what areas of the team rshould require improvements.

i would suggest buy either -

2 'World Class' strikers to get you goals

or

2 quality wingers both sides.

forget about defence most important thing is goal difference, If you got high goal difference the chances of you staying up are higher

REMEMBER the second season in prem(if you survived) is always harder than the first, so you should build your back 4 then.

I got promoted in my third season to premierleague, i got 15m depending on what you say to the baord, i said mid table finished

Yea but the problem with that is if you don't finish mid table the board will jog you on.

Strengthen to be honest. Don't spend your whole budget on one or two players.

i disagree, there is no point being able to score 2-3 goals a game if you let in 3-4. defence is essential. its the basis of all of my purchases and tactics.

you cant loose a match if you don't concede a goal.

this is the premier league we are talking about..

even if you had a solid defence your still going concede about 1-2 goals this is the prem every team has a striker that will get goals for them!

If you had a solid back 4 your still going to concede 1 or 2 goals a game.

if you go 1-2 goals down who is gonna get you back into the game NO1!

all more than capable of putting atleast 1 even more past your team no matter how good your defense is.

like mancingo he said he has only like 7mil or just a little more to spend, do you think you can get a solid back4 for that amount of money i dont think you can, it usually takes like 7m+ to get 1 solid center back.

should buy 2 players who will get you atleast 20+ goals.

Decent back four is essential to survive in prem. But u really need at least 2 very good striker to help u get precious goals...

Just what i needed now..
Currently managing Swansea City, got promoted in 3rd season to prem.
Now currently in hte transfer window... Wish me luck...

But i think i will search for defenders, as i got strikers already, Barreto and Chrisantus.
