United Want Bale !!

attachment.php

Sky Sports News understands the Welsh flying machine Gareth Bale is wanted by Manchester United. Sir Alex thinks he has the potential to become a "magnificent player" and that he would be a "perfect replacement for Giggs". However Tottenham are reluctant to sell the Bale. But does Bale want to go??.. Bale began his professional career with Championship side Southampton in 2005 and was transferred to Tottenham two years later.Bale signed a four-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur and was given the number 37 shirt. Spurs paid an initial £5 million for Bale, but the fee could potentially rise to £10 million based on appearances and success. However, Tottenham paid Southampton an early settlement payment of £2 million in 2008 to reduce the final fee to £7 million and allow the Saints the immediate cash that they desperately needed. On 4 November, Bale stated that he intended to stay at Tottenham for the remainder of his recently-signed four-year contract, despite reported interest from other clubs, will he keep this promise? ...

Dream on Ferguson, there is no way that Garteh Bale wil be joining United as long as im managing the club, he is a top class player and we need to keep our best players otherwise we will never develop as a club, Gareth is also a top mate of myn. Levy texted me this morning saying Man Utd have made an enquiry for Gareth Bale, what do you wanna do? to which I replied tell them to **** off politely or tell them the starting point is £200m.

Next Day....

Big day today, we find out who we have got in the play-off round for the Champions League, there are four possible candidates; Dynamo Kyiv, Celtic, Omonia or Sevilla. If i could decide I would take Celtic as it would be great to play a british side at this stage and Im confident that we would beat them over two legs. Here we go ....

"Ill take that" were the words around the changing room at White Hart Lane, as we were drew against Ukranian side Dyanmo Kyiv, we are playing at home first on the 17th August and then away on the 24th. Im confident about this tie and i think are pace down the wings will be enough to beat them over two legs.Overall im relatively happy with that as the worst case scenario would have been Sevilla, so come the Yids !!!

"Ring, Ring"

"Hello its Ledley King here"

"Hey Ledders its Daniel here, just rang to tell you that, we have finally managed to find Khumalo a club. He has joined Villereal on loan till the end of the season with a view to a permanant deal worth £2m."

"Oh hey Dan, cheers for telling me Daniel, Im glad you managed to find him a club as I told you about that saga in my office the other day. Obviously im dissapointed that he has had to leave, because he was a useful player but oh well we can manage without him."

"Yes it was a shame but life goes on... by the way, were very close to signing Pablo Zabaleta on loan till the end of the season, I know he is a player you liked and he is very versatile so that helps."

"Oh sick! That's great news man, will speak to you in a bit at the stadium, bye pal"

"Cya Ledders"

What man he is, Mr Daniel Levy is a complete legend. Good news for Khumalo then as he has got the transfer he wanted, and we have got quite a good deal out of it aswell, so that's good and brilliant news about Zabaleta, im a big fan of the argentinian as he can play in multiple positions and is good in all of them.

Balotelli Charged with GBH!

balotelli_1796684c.jpg

Rebel Mario Balotelli had been charged with GBH and will face court in December! Recent footage that is explicit shows Mario acting like a wild dog and beating a man to a polp. Apparently, this bloke told him that he is the "most overated player ever" and im sure many of us would agree based on his performances for Man.City. Then, Mario just lumped him one and his give the man two black eyes and a broken rib. By the looks of it Mario Balotelli is an extremely violent person as he was involved in a fight at Man City which was between him and German international Jerome Boateng !
After weeks of speculation about his future, on 12 August 2010 Inter and Manchester City reached an agreement on Balotelli's transfer to England, believed to be around £24 million, which was made official the following day after the player successfully completed a medical. At Manchester City, Balotelli rejoined his former boss Roberto Mancini. Balotelli is known for his pace, his technical ability and his petulant attitude, he is often nicknamed Super Mario and he can play anywhere along the front line and he is a set-piece (dead ball) specialist and is regarded as a promising yet fiery young striker. On his arrival at Manchester City, manager Roberto Mancini said "his style of play will suit the Premier League, and because he is still so young there is a big chance for him to improve. He is a strong and exciting player, and City fans will enjoy watching him".

Zabaleta Leaves City!!

Pablo-Zabaleta-Manchester-City_2437157.jpg

Man City full back Pablo Zabaleta has joined Spurs on loan till the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal worth £2.5m. The argentinian is said to be delighted with his move to Spurs and wants to prove a point to Man City that heis good enough to play for them. He can operate on both sides of the pitch either as a defender or midfielder, but is predominantly a right sided player. Zabaleta also holds a Spanish passport. Having passed a medical and agreed personal terms, Zabaleta completed a five year deal with Manchester City on 31 August 2008 for an undisclosed fee, believed to be around £6.45 million. Wearing the number 5 shirt, Zabaleta scored his first goal for City on 17 January 2009, the only goal of the game in a 1–0 league win over Wigan Athletic. Zabaleta has also played for City in the centre of midfield, with the return to fitness of Nedum Onuoha pushing him further forward. This switch has brought an improvement in his performances.

Delighted with our new man to be honest, think he is a top player and will fit right in to the squad. Depending on his performances and his usefulness we may sign him at the end of the year for a reasonable fee. I wanted him becasue he has experience at the top level and is a very good squad player, he is a really nice bloke and helps the youngsters a lot. So, I can only say good things about the man.

Barclays Premeir League 2010/11 has now begun!

Today is the day that every football fan looks forward today especially afte rsuch a poor performance in the world cup! The big fixture today has to be Manchester City vs Villa witch is live on Sky Sports HD1, we will see if the big money spenders can beat a team willing to give the youth a chance. Arsenal face Wigan and Spurs face a strong Bolton side. Will there be any suprises? We can expect to see Water Samuel in action today after his £20m move to Man City and also Eden Hazard.

King "looking forward to the opening day"

BBC: "Are you confident you can win today?"

Me: "Yes of course I am, you have to be confident in football otherwise you will never get anywhere."

BBC: "Will new singning Welliton be starting today?"

Me: "Ermmm.... I don't think so, as I think Pav deserves a chance as he was exceptioanl in pre-season scoring something like 5 goals in 3 games."

Sky: "Were do you predict you will finish this year?"

Me: "Anything can happen yet, Im not sure to be frank but we as a team and a club are aiming for another top 4 spot, I think that we are more than capable of doing this as we have great depth and quality in the squad."

ESPN: "Are you finished spending in this transfer market then?"

Me: "Yes... there will be no more players entering the club in this transfer window, as me and the staff are pleased with the quality we have got."

Sky: "How much are you looking forward to today?"

Me: "Words can't describe hwo happy im feeling at the moment, I am so excited about stepping out at White Hart Lane ans soaking up the atmosphere and sitting in the managers chair and knowing than it means somehting. Thank you, thats it from me today"

Corr! Am I glad that thats over! I hate doing them bludey press conferences, that take up a lot of useful time, and they want to know everything...

2 Hours Later ....

Just an hour till kick-off now ! Im really starting to feel the nerves now, Me, Joe and Carlos sat down yesterday and discussed how we was going to approach the game. We all agreed that Pav deserved a chance and that defoe should play alongside him and also that Gallas and Dawson should be the back two, this is the team we decided on:

Gomes

Hutton - Dawson - Gallas - Assou Ekotto

Sandro - VDV

Lennon--------------------Bale

Defoe - Pavlychenko

Yes!! Im over the moon right now, I have won my first game in charge of Tottenham Hotspur against a tough team today, the boys played really well looking dangerous everytime we went forward with the ball. Great goal from Jermaine aswell, dribbled past two players then slotted it in the back of the net without a problem, a true poacher. Bolton did play well though gotta say they were physical but we coped with that and was good to see best mate Dawson bag a goal from a corner.

During the game I got a text from Daniel levy who was sitting above me saying that we have sent promisinh youngster Dean Parrett on loan for 5 months to Wallsall were he will agin some first team experience.

We now face a tough tie in Europe against Dynamo Kyiv who have an extremely good attacking force in Andrey Shavechenko and Artem Milevskyi, who are both exceptional goalscorers. This is the team me, Joe and Carlos agreed on, we thought we would give some of the new signings a run out:

Gomes

Zabaleta - Bassong - Corluka - Alex Sandro

Simao - Modric

Pienaar-----------------Kranjcar

Lucas - Welltion

Another win ! get in there you beauty. Was a dull game, but then I replaced Pienaar with speedy Lennon and he completely changed the game for us, his pace shocked the Dynamo full backs as Aaron went sprinting past them to drill home the ball. Great night for Spurs ! Were half way there now.

Great performance from the boys today, we really dominated the game and had a real threat about us when attacking. Bale was absolutley superb for us today and the MOM award has to go to him, his dribbling and crosses were just out of this world and he got the goal he deserved.

Great news ! My wife has just given birth to our child, its a baby boy. We decided to call him Jeffrey after my Grandad and my wife's uncle. Isn't he just the cutest, hopefully he will become a professional footballer, just joking he can do anything he wishes, Ill tresure this moment along with a few others.

If we draw tonight against Dynamo then we are through! Nerves are really kicking in now, I need to make sure we go through into the group stages. Thsi is the team me and Carlos agreed on? Its very similiar to the team we last played against them...

Gomes

Zabaleta - Woodgate - Corluka - Alex Sandro

Palacios - Huddlestone

Pienaar ----------------------Kranjcar

Lucas - Welliton

Were through! and in style. What a top class performance from the lads and really pleased to see Welltion get two goals on his debut for us. Kranjcar's goal was an absolute cracker, one to remember. Things are really looking up for this club at the minute.

Fulham 1 - 0 Tottenham

fulham-spurs_307x230.jpg

Ahhh! Dissapointed with this result, did not deserve to lose this game as you will see on match of the day late, had so many chances but we just missed them all, can I say though Mark Schwarzer was top draw today, fair play to Fulham they had one chance and they took it, we will be looking to move on fastly by winning against Newcastle in a couple of weeks.

*****
Despite the Fulahm result it has been a good motnh for me and for Tottenham Hotspur as we have won 4/5 games, which you cant really complain about. The boys have played well throughout the month, some more than others though. Therefore Tottenhams August player of the month was between;

Michael Dawson
Aaron Lennon
Gareth Bale
Jermain Defoe

I have now made my mind up, this months player of the month is .....

Aaron Lennon
