First of all you need to turn on the hidden files and folders:

Windows XP:
  1. Click Start.
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. Click Appearance and Themes, then Folder Options.
  4. Select the View tab.
  5. Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
  6. Click Apply, then click OK.

Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8:
  1. Click Start (Windows Key + Q in Windows 8).
  2. Click Control Panel.
  3. In category view, click Appearance and Personalization, then Folder Options.
  4. In icon view, click Folder Options.
  5. Select the View tab. Select Show hidden files, folders, and drives. Click Apply, then click OK.

Once you have enabled hidden files, folders, and drives to be shown please delete the following folder:

Windows XP:
My Computer -> Local Disk (C:) -> Documents and Settings -> <username> -> Application Data -> Sports Interactive -> Football Manager 2012 -> Settings

Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8:
Computer (Windows Key + E in Windows 8) -> Local Disk (C:) -> Users -> <username> -> AppData -> Roaming -> Sports Interactive -> Football Manager 2012 -> Settings
