I don't seem to be getting many crosses into my striker despite this tactic using wingers? any suggestions?

You can tell your players to cross in a specific area. Try to see where he is when your wingers/fullbacks cross and set the area that fits.
I'm not 100% about this, but might be worth a try.


Edit: If you don't have a world class striker, make sure you set "low crosses" instead of "whipped cross". It seems to work better.

wingers don't even seem to get in a position to cross...... i'm saints with austin/long up front and tadic readmond on wings. they play through the middle a lot it seems

Guys at the fm16 crossing was the key in the tactics... all the "magic" happened with that... like your DR/DL players was wining balon dor becouse of amazing game ratings but this year they changed ME specially to stop crossing efectivnes so thats why i was trying to change that.if you find a better option please show us...
