King Keegan Returns​

So here i was sat next to Mike watching my former team Manchester City.
We started chatting about football issues around Newcastle at the moment
and he wasn't happy. Newcastle were sitting in 15th position in the league
but there was them, Blackpool and Stoke all on the same points and we werent
playing well.​

The conversation then broke into :​

" We are having a board meeting this week about Alan Pardew and wether he is
going to stay on as manager or get the boot. "​

" Oh Right " i said​

Mike then came out with the statement that i had been waiting for​

" Would you be intrested in coming back Kevin "​

Without hesitation i said " Of Course "​

" I shall contact you this week then Kev".​

3 Days Later​

" Hello "​

" Hi Kevin, it Mike "​

" Oh Hi Mike "​

" As you may know today we have decided that Alan Pardew had
to go due to the League Position and recent results "​

" Would you still be intrested in joining back "​

I replied " I am intrested Mike, but you will have to back me in
the transfer window and give me enough funds to bring in
my own players and own staff. "​

" So is that a yes? "​

" Yeah "​

" Okay, we will meet at the Training ground tomorrow"​

It was 11am and Mike had just taken me to meet the current squad
I was quite happy with the depth of the squad but i will have to
bring in some match winners who could lighten up the team​

I stepped out onto the ground to a massive applause, i was back
in Black and White and only Blackpool could spoil my return and i knew
a win would take us 3 points clear of Blackpool and it would help us going
into some vital games ahead

some great football and most importantley we got those Vital
3 points that takes us further away from the bottom three. "​

Just before the game i had secured the sevices of Amdy Faye
on a Free Transfer. I was delighted to get Amdy back as he
was here a few years ago and not having to pay for him
is a major coup for us.​

We are also looking to secure the signings of Kerlon from Inter Milan and
Jordi Gomez from Wigan!​

I am delighted with another win at St James Park and that makes it two wins

two games for me on my return. We are playing like a team who are in the top half challenging

for europe instead of a team who is in a relegation Battle. Going in to the last week of January
i am looking to secure some signings that could improve our team even more and i am glad
that Mike has trusted me in this transfer window by giving me a respectable amount of
money to spend on new players.​

I am not very happy with the last two results, we are conceeding far too many

goals away from home and if that doesn't stop i will have to think about changing

alot of things around. we have got some tough fixtures coming up with Liverpool and

Manchester United bring the next two Premier League games.​

A good result today against a very strong opposition in Liverpool. I was delighted

the way we had defended up until the 90th Minute, when Liverpool scored the late equaliser

to deny us a famous victory, but then again it was good to pick up a point instead of no points. Next, we play Hull in the Fa Cup replay and if we can beat them we will play Championship side Burnley in the next round
