Kit Creation?

Sorry if this is a n00b question, but I would like to create some new fantasy kits for my Newcastle United squad. Could somebody please link me to a turotial of such showing me how. I would also appreciate andy links to resources such as templates etc.

I am using photoshop if that helps.
