Kit Making Challenge - COMPETITION FINISHED
This is going to be the competition that hopefully should provide us with some of the best kits you'll see on Fm-base and will find out who the best kit maker on the site is.
We all know that using colour overlay is easy and makes kits look good, but the real challenge which separates the boys from the men, is the use of the pen tool.
However, don't let this put you off, if you've never entered before, give this one ago, you never know, you could be the next big thing...
So, the challenge is this. 16 people will be split into groups of 4. The top 2 from there will go through to the next round, and then it becomes a typical knockout competion.
Rules:
1.The use of the Pen Tool is a necessity
2.You must use the base template of any brand in the SS'09/LS'10 megapack - DOWNLOAD HERE
3.You cannot use a pre-made design
4.You can use pre-made collars and sleeve stripes - I'm told collars are near impossible to do, but feel free.
5.There are no restrictions on using brushes etc.
6.Don't turn this competition into an argument about how you think people who don't use the pen tool are **** etc....
At the end of the competition, I plan to make a megapack of all the kits (sort of like a best of fm-base thing) so take it seriously
