Shock surounds southern side Eastleigh.
Today Eastleigh annoced their manager,
After Ian Baird resigned last month
All football experts and bookies tipped for
either Jason Dodd or Charlie Palmer.
Kit Sullivan has been made Eastleigh
manager with everyone asking the question
"who is Kit Sullivan?"
We thought that we would try and retrieve
some experience that he has.
Kit Sullivan CV:
Won testway youth league knock-out cup under 18's.
Yes that's right people that was the only thing
that we could find about the new manager.
That was won as a player too! its makes me
worried and bemused why he has been appointed.
We caught up with Mr Sullivan and this is
what he had to say:
Reporter asks "With the little expirence that you
have, how will you get players respect you"
Mr.Sullivan says"good question, well ill be getting around that, to be honest i didn't know i had got this job until my family made me aware that i had got the job i applyed for at the job centre"
Reporter asks "This season what do you hope to achive?"
Mr.Sullivan replys "I am looking for a promotion push, it will be difficult considering the lack of funds the club has but im sure i will succed."
Reporter asks "Do you have a message for all your Eastleigh fans?"
Mr.Sullivan replys "Yes i do, i would like the fans to come and support the club as we need your voice and also we need your money if we are honest, the club strives from you and without our fans there wouldn't be a club"
Sullivan has also made a statement about
Charlie Palmer future at the club after he
was linked with taking the job. Sullivan
said that he would like Charlie (Palmer) to
continue to be assistant in order so that
he has some inside knowledge on the
league so he can seek success.
PRE SEASON:
The Pre season was a fair start for the rookie manager. 2 loses, a draw and 4 wins to set them on their way.[/SIZE]
Wins:
Carshalton 0-3 Eastleigh
Hitchin 0-2 Eastleigh
Harrogate 1-2 Eastleigh
All wins were expected, all away which is a bit worring and a goal against :S
Draw:
Eastleigh 1-1 Luton
Good draw with a team a league above me, however it was at home, we are looking like a team that likes to keep the score tight and nervous...
Lost:
Eastleigh 0-2 Southampton
Eastleigh 1-2 Huddersfield
Expected, a bit disappointed with the huddersfield score thought we could of held on for a draw which would of made me jumping for joy and thinking I'm the special one.....suppose it wasn't meant to be really haha
TRANSFERS:
as you can see i haven't spent any money on players as i cannot afford it lol thats the only reason.
UPDATE IS UP SOON, I'VE RUSHED THROUGH THE FIRST SEASON I'LL GIVE SCREEN SHOTS AND KEY INFORMATION AND THEN WE WILL START IN THE BLUE SQUARE PREMIER BOOM!
