This is the story about the return of Chris Kamara to Stoke City FC. Chris had good and bad times with the club in the past, good as a player but bad as a manager.I am hoping to put those bad times behind us! Chris played 60 games for Stoke scoring 5 goals, and was named Stoke City player of the year in 1988-89. After Kamara finished his laying career he ventured into management and after a successful spell with Bradford, was given the Stoke City Managers Job. However this turned into a disaster, as Chris only had 3 months in charge and was dismissed following poor results. I am here to prove them wrong! I hope you enjoy the road ahead!

My aim is to keep the physical nature of play here at Stoke City, too many people aspire to be the new Arsenal or Barcelona but I am going to play to Stoke City's strengths. In order to do this I am going to pack the middle of the park using a 3-5-2 system with the wing backs the main source of delivery for the two front men. This should mean it is hard to break us down, and hopefully to keep as many clean sheets as possible. I feel Set Pieces will be vital for us in scoring goals, and I am likely to utilise Charlie Adam's corner taking ability as much as possible, and maybe bring in a free kick specialist. I may also be on the lookout for a long throw specialist due to the absence of Rory Delap, to pile on the pressure in search for goals.

I am delighted to be back at my old club and hope I can take it in the right direction! I have made many changes already here at the club. I have brought in my own backroom staff and I am delighted they are joining me on this journey. I Feel there experience in the game will help me this time around at Stoke City FC. The additions include:

Ray Wilkins - Coach
Former Chelsea and Manchester United man. Ray has vast experience in the game and will be a great asset on the training pitch and on the dugout!

Andy Cole - Coach
Former Manchester United Striker Andy Cole has joined us. His many years at the top of the game and his eye for goal will hopefully rub off on the boys and is a great role model for the youngsters!

Mark Chamberlain - Coach
Father of Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and well renowned coach Mark was a great player in his day and played 111 games for Stoke in his playing career, and we are glad to have him back!

Jamie Redknapp - Under 18s Coach
Glad to welcome Jamie to the club, he has great football knowledge and comes from a big footballing family. Hoping he can bring along the youngsters!

Ruud van Nistelrooy - Under 18s Coach
Another Manchester United Striker and one of the best goal scorers the Premier League has seen, hoping he can teach his skills to the youngsters for the future of Stoke City!

A lot has been happening in a short space of time at the club and these are only the major backroom changes. I will have more staff news and also transfer news to announce shortly.....
