Kony 2012 is a campaign started by Invisible Children Inc and the name of an eponymous viral video. The movement's purpose is to make Joseph Kony known to the world, for his successful arrest within the year 2012.
As of March 6, 2012, the film currently has over 1.3 million views on Vimeo,and 50 thousand views on social media site YouTube, with other viewing emanating from a central "Kony2012" website operated by Invisible Children.
The film is being shown at the Penn State Altoona campus on March 12, 2012.
