Kovacic best role and position

I'm playing as Arsenal and recently bought Kovacic as a CM - DLP to take over from Santi and to work in rotation with Xhaka.

I noticed his stats look more suited to playing in Ozil's position, CAM - AP.

Do you think he would make an ok CM - DLP or should I just play him at CAM - AP?

If so who are the best young DLPs? I already have Ramsey who has been playing as Ozil's back up, would he make a better DLP?

I got him on the cheap at Man Utd. I rotate him and Pogba as a CM - DLP-S and he does pretty well there for me. I never worry about having him in the team instead of Pogba
