Decided to be nice and upload my Ancelotti Style diamond formation for all to use. I would like to start by saying this is in no way a 'plug and play formation'. I made this a few weeks ago when Chelsea were high flying and i was enjoying how organised the team were. Reminded me of Ac Milan so i made this tactic. The tactic sole creation was to work for Chelsea and Ac Milan. So do not expect it to work with everyone.
I have also found that i dominate almost every game. This can be frustrating when things do not go your way however.
Listen to your staff. If your team is filled with more technically gifted players then change it from rigid to fluid.
The Tactic
The formation splits its central midfield distinctively between the defensive player and the attacking player. Usually, this will mean the DMC acts as an anchor man while the AMC is freed to express himself as a playmaker or an incisive forward attacking from deep. Curiously, Ancelotti has broken this mould in recent times by allowing his DMC to act as a deep-lying playmaker when the side needs more passing options from deep.
The 4-4-2 diamond is usually narrow, and therefore open to exploitation down the flanks. However, it is incredibly good at bossing the centre of the park, and as such can be a very effective, and, at times, aesthetic formation.

The Results
With Chelsea i won the League and FA Cup. I know i only won it by a point but i kind of had an injury crisis and the African nations/embargo did not help.
The Ac Milan Game was played by Danny.

I welcome all feedback guys. This is the first time i have bothered to upload my tactics and i only done it because Danny,Frankie,19/11/08,Max and a few mates have spoken highly of it.
