We've started already, and we have backup ready if anyone pulls out. Not sure if you can become part of the backup because I doubt 4 or 5 people will pull out anytime soon, I'm afraid.

Too many people = too much lag
Too many people = takes 1 day for every in game day
Too many leagues = No match synchronisation

Barely any lag.
Got through nearly a month and a half in around 14 hours play, during Transfer Window.
Every player so far has played their games at the same time.
