Coppa Italia 1st Round
Brescia v Modena

A nice easy start for us as we waltz through the first round and Accornero has a dream debut as he managed to get on the scoresheet with a nice finish from just inside the box.

Brescia v Cremonese

What an opening league game for Giovannini as he scores a brilliant hat-trick as he shows that he's going to be a key player yet again for us this season

Sassuolo v Brescia

What a first half as goals from both wings get us a very good lead going into half time and we should of had the confidence with the 2nd goal right on half time but sadly the 2nd half went horribly wrong as our keeper had two howlers to concede the 2 goals.

Brescia v Napoli

Čavlina made another mistake here as he made a rouge pass which was picked up by Zieliński who then slots it past him and it looked like a loss before Ounahi picks up the ball on the edge of the area and slots it home for a point.

League

A steady start to the league after 3 games but lets not look at it too much with 35 games to go

Transfers Out

Well another big transfer we could of done without but we couldn't turn down this sort of money as Mendy moves on.

Transfers In

Amad Diallo

Looking for a bit more cover on the wings we pick up Diallo on loan for the season from Man Utd and have an option to pick him up at the end of the season for £9.5m

Filippo Missori

Trying to find somebody to replace Mendy was a big ask and we struggled until we came across Missori at Sassuolo and splashed out £10million on him but with him being Italian its worth it as he becomes our new starting RB

Tommaso Baldanzi

I've always tried to stick to a sensible wage structure and not spend too much on just one player but that went right out the window here as we had the chance to sign Balanzi from Empoli for £12.5million as he is who we are now going to build the team around going forward and he should hopefully find his way into the national team as well

Wages

We've increased our wage budget again and now find ourselves sitting in 18th spot in the wage table and still a massive £3million behind top spot.

Udinese v Brescia

Not the start to the game I wanted falling behind after only 11 minutes but it became quite dull until the final 15 minutes where Baldanzi made an instant impact for us and dream debut to put us in the lead before some poor goalkeeping cost us the 3 points.

Brescia v Salernitana

A bit of a drab game but both teams were excellent defensively but Cole Palmer cut through their defence like a knife through butter to get the only goal of the game

Roma v Brescia

Well not what I expected at all here as Roma really put us to the sword here.

Transfer In

Tottenham had been trying to offload Bryan Gil all summer and when they couldn't they decided to tear up his contract. We then swooped and signed up the Spanish International who at only 24 still has a lot to offer the club down the left wing

League

Comfortably mid table after 6 games

A horrible start to the month with Juventus and Atalanta but at least it gets a bit more likely that we'll pick up points for the final 2 games.​

Brescia v Juventus

A completley unexpected result here against Juventus, especially after we fell behind in the opening 5 minutes but Baldanzi really stepped up here as he gets his 2nd brace since joining and even got an assist as well as he ran Juventus ragged.

Atalanta v Brescia

The 2nd game I was really not looking forward to this month and its huge confidence boost scoring via an own goal right before half time. We did get pegged back though and replied straight away before putting the game beyond doubt in injury time.

Brescia v Palermo

For the 2nd game in a row we follow the exact same pattern and get a 3rd big win in a row

Lecce v Brescia

A game that was never in doubt after we raced to a 2-0 lead after just 11 minutes. It was great to see Lucca go on to secure hit hat-trick as well. Could he one day break into the national team after scoring 6 goals this month

League

We're 10 games in now and sitting in 2nd spot after a stellar month but there is a lot still to go and its still very tight below and above us.

There is never an easy month here as its a good mix of games again to give us some real tests​

Monza v Brescia

A really poor result here losing to a team currently in the relegation zone.

Brescia v Fiorentina

What a horrible final half hour here as we managed to concede 5 goals and throw away a 2 goal lead. Čavlina had a shocker and was to blame for a number of the goals here

Genoa v Brescia

A well needed win here after two defeats and Palmer was key here getting two goals and an assist to see us on our way here

Brescia v Lazio

Well it didn't last long as rack up another defeat thanks to poor choices from our keeper.

League

We're down to 5th now but still in the European spots as that would be our aim this season. We're still right in the thick of it though as its very close around the top 10 at the moment

Great we have the two Milan teams sandwiching the cup game to make it even more fun for us.​

Torino v Brescia

We fell behind early but thanks to a lovely strike from Doyle we pulled it straight back before Palmer puts us in front before we finish it off not long after half time.

Brescia v Milan

A very boring game here for the fans but what a result for us as we ****** a very good point.

Coppa Italia 2nd Round
Brescia v Palermo

We welcome back cup football here as Palmer gets us off to a quick start before Baldanzi steps up in the 2nd half to make sure we make it into the 3rd round.

Inter v Brescia

An expected result here but we played well and kept it to just one goal right up until the end where Inter put it beyond doubt.

Brescia v Bologna

A poor result here as we really were the 2nd best team here and didn't deserve the point but we'll happily take a final minute goal to get it.

Empoli v Brescia

One of the most undeserved 3 points you'll ever see as we have to come from behind and then relied on a very poor back pass that went wrong to win the game

Brescia v Sassuolo

Lucca finding form this month with a 2nd goal in 2 games to ****** us the 3 points here.

Torino v Brescia

A tale of 2 halves here for us as we looked down and out after a really poor first half we rallied after some choice words and came out a different team but sadly when it went into extra time we were just too tired and the goal 3 minutes into it is enough to knock us out for another season

Cremonese v Brescia

We're struggling just now to get these results but its a sign of a good team from the Alex Ferguson days at Man Utd is when not even at our best then we're still grinding out a result for the 3 points.

Napoli v Brescia

What a result here to see our two young Italian signings from over the seasons getting the two goals to give us a huge away win.

League

22 games into the season and we are amazingly in 4th spot and only 7 points off of top spot as well. Its very close behind us as well so anything could happen but our aim is to try and get some sort of European football come the end of the season

Transfers Out

We've had a couple of players leaving the club due to lack of football even though they were signed as backup players yet they wanted first team it turns out. The big signing to go though was Nikola Cavlina who has been our first choice keeper for the last season and a half but he has made far too many mistakes this season so I felt this was my only choice to let him got and we make £7.5million profit off him in just a season and a half so its good business in my eyes.

Transfers In

Stefano Turati

We wanted to sign a new keeper and he fits our philosophy with being an Italian player and has plenty of potential to grow into a great player for us as he signs from Sassuolo for £2.5million

Leandro Marra

I wanted a new striker and been following this player for a while now and we sign our first newgen player and South American player from Banfield for £5million. Hopefully we can develop him into becoming a top strike for us or at least sell him for a big profit as his value has jumped significantly.

Arouna Sangate

We wanted to bring in another defender for the rest of the season and Sangate meets those needs as he comes in as a backup from Everton on loan

Well with being out of the cup its one less game to worry about but its another month of big games for us to worry about as we've lost to all of these teams in the past.​

Brescia v Udinese

This was a disappointing defeat here as a poor tackle sadly cost us our defeat here.

Salernitana v Brescia

We should of really done better here as we just couldn't take our chances at all and it cost us

Brescia v Roma

Well this result came out of the blue after the last couple of results but a well worked corner gets us the only goal of the game but it was nervy after we lost Tommy Doyle thanks to two yellow cards but we did excellent to hold on and win our first game against Roma in 5 games.

Juventus v Brescia

We were doing well here until the final 10 minutes when Juventus just upped their game like the great teams can and put the game beyond doubt

League

With only 3 points from a possible 12 this month we've dropped down to 7th spot. Its looking like Inter are already running away with the League as they are the ones to catch.

A bit of an easier month ahead after the Atalanta game and it also brings the youth intake as well​

Brescia v Atalanta

We need to tighten up our set piece defending as we conceded from a corner but in the 2nd half Baldanzi put in a MOTM performance with two great solo goals to get us the 3 points.

Palermo v Brescia

Nothing like a sending off making all the difference and it certainly did here as Giovannini and Lucca ran riot here and made the full use of the extra man

Brescia v Lecce

I fully expected to get beaten here since we were playing the team bottom of the league but in the final half hour we came out of our shell and recorded a resounding victory

Brescia v Monza

Baldanzi has been key for us this season and he's doing an excellent job from the AMC role as he gets another 2 goals here

League

An unbeaten month and we're up to 3rd with only 8 games left to play so European qualification is ours to lose now and there is still an outside chance of the title as well

Youth Intake

My favourite time of the year as we welcome our latest youth players to come through the door.

We have one stand out player in Albanian Florian Hoxa, he does have a 2nd nationality of Italian so he might swap over one day

He looks like he could become a decent defender one day with the only problem being that he;s only 5ft 10in (I'm not sure if youth players grow but fingers crossed they do) he also has a poor jumping reach but at only 15 that can only go up/

4 of our final 8 games and against 4 established teams in the league so no easy finish for us.​

Fiorentina v Brescia

Our best result against Fiorentina so far with getting a point as we put in a good performance here to keep a clean sheet

Brescia v Genoa

An own goal really was the saviour here even though it was the first goal scored it was the only difference as both teams were equal apart from that so we were lucky to get the win

Lazio v Brescia

A commanding performance against Lazio here as again we record our first win against them in 4 games as Lucca was the stand out player getting his two goals here.

Brescia v Torino

Brought straight back down to earth here with a poor result for us.

League

2nd in the league with just 4 games to go and still 10 points off the top. Its all still very close behind us though and any slip ups could see us tumble down.

Not the easiest way to close out the season as we have to face both Milan sides so the chance of slipping up here is high as we try our best to finish in the European spots​

Milan v Brescia

I was really hoping the goal right after half time would give us the confidence to go on and get the 3 points but sadly we're still not able to get our first win against Milan in the league

Brescia v Inter

Missori has really grown into a great player since we signed him at the start of the season as he taps in at the back post to get us on our way and then Lucca wants in on the fun as he gets a good brace.

Bologna v Brescia

Its disappointing that after taking the lead that we aren't able to hold on as the goal right on the stroke of half time took our confidence and we just couldn't get back into it.

Brescia v Empoli

We finish the season off in style here in front of the fans and its gives a number of players their chance to say goodbye as well with them already not being in my plans for next season.

League

What a season for us as we finish well above the media's expectations and take 5th place to qualify for the Europa League next season. Even though were just 2 points off 4th I feel we are better equipped for the Europa League

Budgets

A tight budget to be working on with just £10million to strengthen the squad so we will have to look to sell some players but it is a decent wage increase for us which always helps.

New Stadium

At the end of last season the board announced they were going to start looking for a suitable place to build a new stadium and they have delivered.

Its surprisingly going to take 3 seasons to build though and will bring an increase of around 7,000 seats. Since the old stadium is owned by the council they weren't able to sell it so have had to take out a loan to cover the cost of it but at least there is a decent sponsorship coming for it as well to help offset it​

Quality season that! Everything going in the right direction with European football and a new stadium. With the right additions, no reason why you won't go far in the Europa League next year and missing out on the Champions League is probably a blessing in disguise and gives you a realistic shot at lifting a European trophy.

Hope is I can make the later stages of it to help bring some cash in but the big test will be balancing European football with the league next season. Transfer window will be key with having to let some players go to then be able to bring more quality in

Season 4

Transfers Out

We've shipped out 9 players so far this season for a staggering £93.3million. The biggest sale of all was Tommy Doyle who we only singed for free last summer. He was a key player for us and will be missed but we couldn't turn down that sort of money with what we're looking to build at the club. All the other players who left had either let it be known that they weren't happy with their game time or were wanting new contracts which just weren't affordable with our current budgets so it made sense to get rid and try and sign somebody better.

Transfers In

James McAtee

McAtee is the next player we sign on a free transfer from Man City as it looks like he will be another decent prospect that we can sell in a season or two for a big profit.

Johnny Marumo

Marumo looks like an exciting young player who is only going to get better as he joins from Mamelodi Sundowns for £500k

Josh Doig

With selling both our LB's a new one was vital and we wanted one with experience in the league to pop straight into the starting lineup and we get Doig for the bargain price of £13m from Torino

Matteo Prati

Prati previously had been in on loan a couple of seasons ago where he was a key player for us but we didn't have the money to sign him then so we snap him up this time from Cagliari for £10m

Radu Dragusin

Wanting another defender in we looked to the league again for somebody with expereince and that player is Gragusin who can also cover at RB for us as well as we give Genoa £15m to sign him

Nick Storm

A player who our scouts came across a couple of seasons ago and we've been monitoring since but he hasn't wanted to join until now so get him from OB for the bargain of £3.4m. We'll retrain him to be more comfortable on the right wing as well so he can play higher up the pitch

Yasser Larouci

We needed a backup left back and Larouci fills the gap as he joins on a free transfer and will do the job for a season or two

Cesare Casadei

Looking to continue our influx of Italian players where we can then this seemed like a no brainer for only £6m from Chelsea, He's not developed too well there but at only 23 he still has plenty of time to develop

Junior Kroupi

I was looking to an attacking player to be able to play up front and we stubled onto Kroupi who at only 20 is already a great player and can only get better. He only costs us £10m from Lorient and could be a big player for us or we can sell him for a big profit

Yann Aurel Bisseck

We wanted a bit more cover at CB and again looked at the league to provide the player as we sign our second player from Torino as he joins for £8.5m

Expectations

We still have a hefty budget to spend if any players become available that we might want to sign but they would need to improve the squad.

The board still don't expect much from us as they just want a top half finish which should allow us to through everything at Europe and relax a bit in the league so we can reach the later stages of the Europa League along with the same in the Coppa Italia as well

Friendlies

With a lot of new players coming in then I wanted a lot of friendlies to get the players use to each other as well. We tried to play a range of games and they all went ok apart from the Young Boys game which is a bit worrying going into Europe but it was only a blip in amongst a lot of good results

The Start

I feel like all we do is open our season against Napoli which is never an easy task but we'll do our best as always and then its a straightforward start for us with a lot of winnable games​

The Start

Europa League Draw

We have been given a pretty good draw for the Europa League and I feel we should be able to finish in the top 8 spots so we miss out on a couple of games through the competition. It should also give us the chance to provide chances to some younger players as well to get some first team experience to help with their development

Transfers Out

We have a few younger players going out on loan to get some playing experience in the lower leagues but we did have one more big outgoing with Ounahi moving to PSV for £20m to bag us a £16.4m profit in 2 seasons to add a bit more cash into the bank

Transfers In

Fabio Mirreti

With Ounahi leaving on deadline day they squad started to moan that there wasn't enough depth in the middle of the pitch so we jumped to the loan market to sign Mirreti from Juventus for the season which managed to quash the uprising.

Napoli v Brescia

A great start to the season for us as Napoli just didn't cope at all with our attacking prowess as we got off to a flyer in just the 2nd minute.

Brescia v Spezia

Baldanzi is just a class above the rest here as he continues to be one of our best players as he scores a brace here to get us the 3 points.

Brescia v Udinese

Our first real test of the season here as Udinese did really well to keep us out but Kroupi got through the defence to score his first goal for the club. We did concede a poor goal but thankfully a sloppy tackle gives us our chance to get back in front for the 3 points

Fiorentina v Brescia

We blew Fiorentina away here and as it was our 3 players who sit just behind the striker who really shined here though and it was great to see Daahbo with 2 goals with him being pushed up the pitch and onto the right wing instead of being in the middle of the park dictating the game.

Europa League
Djurgardens IF v Brescia

Our first European match and there were certainly some nerves here as we struggled against the Swede's but we got the win which is all that matters.

Brescia v Sassuolo

A very nervy end to the game here as we nearly managed to throw away a 2 goal lead in the closing minutes of the game but thankfully Casadei who had come on at half time for Baldanzi was able to ****** the 3 points back for us with his 1st goal for the club.

Europa League
FCSB v Brescia

Casadei was given a start here as a reward for his last minute goal in the last game and boy did he deliver here bagging 4 of the 6 goals to show he is ready to fulfil the potential he showed to get his move to Chelsea.

Sampdoria v Brescia

It looked like we might have had a European hangover here but Baldanzi and Kroupi come in fresh with not playing midweek to get us the 3 points with both being involved one way or another in their 2 goals

League

Its been a busy 6 games as we've managed to score 17 goals already in those games to show how attacking we're going to be this season and it leaves us in top spot and 2 points ahead of 2nd so lets get the rest of the season done now.

Much quieter this month now as we have the international break to comply with as well but we've got 2 tough games this month against Inter and Roma.

With playing Rome its going to be made even more difficult with the fact they have gone into administration now and every player has been put up for sale so they are all playing for their futures now.

We can always rely on Palmer to sneak a goal from the back post to get the 3 points.

Inter v Brescia

After a very good set of opening games since the start of the season we are brought back down to earth by Inter as even though we took the lead they showed how they won the league last season and destroyed us

Brescia v Club Brugge

We somehow walked away with a draw here which we really didn't deserve a point here but we will take it with both hands and take the lovely back pass the keeper didn't reach right on the stroke of half time.

Brescia v Bologna

Our strikers really aren't firing this month at all as we need to rely on Palmer to get the only goal of the game for the 3 points.

League

We hold onto top spot by a point for another month and whats good is the top 4 already seem to be pulling away from the rest of the pack so fingers crossed that means Champions League football come the end of the season

A busier month here thanks to the European games but we will rotate the squad where needed to give players a chance as the League is vital to our long term ambitions​

Hellas Verona v Brescia

Kroupi was given a chance up front and he delivered with two well placed goals here before Baldanzi scored a screamer

Wolfsburg v Brescia

More dropped points here but we did rotate a number of players to give them a rest for the league and it back fired so we might need to rethink rotation in Europe

Cremonese v Brescia

Cole Palmer can always step up when nobody else can score and he even provided the ball in from the corner as well for Bisseck to head home the winning goal.

Brescia v Atalanta

It looked like it was all over after 57 minutes but we managed to get right back into the game with 2 good goals but it was all snatched away from us right at the death from us by the all time FM great Almada.

Europa League
Brescia v APOEL

We bounce back in the Europa League here and this time the rotation pays off as APOEL just didn't stand a chance with how Dahbo was playing as he was untouchable down the right wing again as he gets a hat-trick.

Empoli v Brescia

A slight European hangover here as we lose in a game we should really be winning and need to do better.

League

Even though we've managed to lose 2 games this month we still somehow hold onto the top spot of the league but its still all very close and all to play for

A horrible end to the month with 3 tough games and a tough game in Europe as well to contend with so its going to be a hard month​

We rotated the squad again where we could going into this game to rest some key players and it payed off again as we stay in the top 8 of the league phase at the moment

Lazio v Brescia

**** you Lazio ruining our winning run but we were lucky that Larouci who came on for Doig got forward from his usual LB and slot home at the back post to get us a point

Brescia v A.C. Milan

Baldanzi is at it again here with yet another brace with 2 goals timed perfectly 90 minutes apart to beat one of our main rivals for the title

Juventus v Brescia

We manage to bounce back twice here against Juventus but I feel we didn't make the most use of our extra man in the final 20 minutes to break them down and get the win

League

We drop down to 3rd this month but are only 1 point behind the top two which shows just how close this is at the halfway point. The top 4 are still a good bit ahead at the moment so at least we have that gap

January

A nice busy month here with 8 games since we finally enter the Coppa Italia along with our final 2 games of the league phase of the Eruopa League​

He's even bagged himself a few caps for the national team now as well but still isn't a regular in the squad. I play him with the attacking midfielder role in attack.

I Just finished my second season with Montpellier and im considering making a move for Kroupi from Lorient as they were relegated. You are at least a season ahead of me so would be cool to see how he looks for you!
