I went straight through League One in my rise to the Championship with Fleetwood. Around this time I had Billy Paynter up front, plus Marko Mitrovic and Philipp Prosenik, who had been released by Chelsea. If you're in your first season, they might not be available yet. You could try Benedict Akwuegbu, who's cracking on a bit, but was a good stop gap for me in the lower leagues. The two ex-Chelsea players are target men, but the other two, while being tall, are better played as advanced forwards.
