"leaked transfer story" - what can be done?

I found a gem in some brazilian league and made a bid, now 4 other clubs are making offers. Why the **** would someone at the club do this and how to I find out who/stop them?

You cant stop them or find out who it is, its just part of the game
Bid quick and sign the players before anyone else has the chance too
