From my experience the be more expressive tactic leads you to be caught on the counter alot and so I'd probably take that off. I'm not really a fan of a DLP either, their great for passing out but I don't think they do a good enough job at covering so you could try altering your midfield roles a little. I find a box to box cm paired with a ball winning cm complement each other quite well. Also maybe alter your cwb to a wb role aswel so they take more care in defending aswel as attacking? just a thought.

Hope that's some sort of help.

Don't hassle opponents while playing deep, your players will get dragged out of position and create too much space deep in your own half. If you're going to play deep you should stand off opponents, and maybe play narrower. For home games though I would push higher up, it's not like your squad lacks pace.

ive just changed it all up then i will see how it goes

That didnt go well i dont no what it is. Going to make a new tactic even tho this won me the double last season

Maybe your opponent is hitting you on the counter? If you won the league last season, the opposition will now be alot more cautious in the way they approach games, such as restricting your space and will look to counter attack.

Do you use individual player instructions? Your tactic is lacking in instructions, with no shape, penetration or tempo.

Do you watch the match on comprehensive? Extended won't show enough, comprehensive will show why you are conceding so many.

yes i use individual player instructions. I will watch on comprehensive and see why soon

you prolly didd wrong everything that you could. No offense meant btw. I would recommend reading about football tactics or downloading one from here.

Consider pushing Strootman back to CDM. You can still keep him as DLP(D) but he might be more useful in shielding the CBs.

Your first tactic had too much space down the wings, with the IF's cutting inside and your CWB's flying forward it leaves you very exposed down the flanks plus you dont use an anchor man so your left with just the 2 CBs at times.

Try the 4-2-3-1 below that i use its very balanced and consistent (PIs: AF - shoot more, Wingers - stay wide, AP - tackle harder and more risky passes, DLP tackle harder.
