I've just been promoted from league 1 to the Championship with Sheffield Wednesday, my expectations for the season are that I 'learn from the experience'. I actually have no idea what this means they are expecting of me, normally I would expect it to mean that I could expect to keep my job even in the event of relegation, however the media prediction for my team is 17th which is usually a decent indicator of where your board expect you to finish. What does everyone think?

Wierd. Fortunately for you, it sound like the board dont give a **** so you can just run wild!

Win the league or you're sacked.

But seriously, I assume it means just enjoy the season.

The Media are not your board.

They mean put plans in place for the future meaning don't buy old players to try and preserve your league status for a year, build for the future and give the youth some games so that next year you can bounce straight back up after you are eventually relegated

Enjoy yourself I guess in the Season,Freedom to test new players, tactcis etc. I guess

basically they think youll fail massively in the league but theyll keep you
