Leeds EPL - board takeover

Just heading into my 3rd season with Leeds after being promoted to the Prem through the playoffs. After promotion from League 1 the season before, I wasn't expecting back to back promotions so my squad is nowhere near ready for the Premiership (It's still mainly made up of my original Leeds team).

Now the board is in the process of a takeover and they've issued a transfer embargo, I haven't signed anyone of Premiership quality and it's looking like this embargo is going to last the entire window. Looks like relegation before I even start. Anyone have any miracle tactics or a miracle of any sorts.

The current board are giving me 22mil in the Prem but I can't spend a penny of it until the transfer embargo is lifted. I had great plans to try and buy Jamie O' Hara (Spurs have him listed) and Darren Bent (sunderlandjust been relegated).

Oops didn't read that properly. Seems like you have to make do with what you have now. Hmm. Maybe you would like to post a screenie of your tactics so others could help you with it?

thats well unlucky pal i would just try ur best to scrape as many points as possible maybe with contain tactics and time waste or use counter then in jan sign ur players

same with me , promoted in EPL , but because of the transf emb. couldn`t buy any player , the embargo lasted 11 months , i just deleted the save , could not play like that , with those players ....

Man you can do it. 2/3rd of my squad was made up of L2 players and we still managed to squeeze into 9th. In my 1st year. I had maybe 1 premiership calibre player and 2 leading star for Championship side type players. In all my saves around 30 points will get you through. The big teams will play down to you and you'll get a couple of draws and might scrape a win. (Although Man City thrashed me 4-0 twice) All the other teams from 10-20 are beatable. Remeber all you need to survive is for 3 teams to be worse than you are. Keep your team morale up. Scout your opponents well. I had 2 scouts on next opponent so I could see their PPM and adjust OI accordingly. You have to do a lot more tweaking with the touchline shouts-drop deeper/narrower/exploit flanks etc etc. You really have to micromanage everything when you're an underdog in every match so you have the best chance to win. As opposed to having the best players and dumping them into a tactic and everything is fine. Can you get loan signings under an embargo? I've only been through one but I had all my signings through before it came into effect. If you can go raid the reserves of the big 4- they'll have young guys needing match practice?
