(First story ever, still ignore if **** though)
I was woken up today after receiving brilliant news that my application for the managerial position at Leeds United was accepted. I had offers elsewhere but this was my main target and after the unfortunate events at Wigan, this was the one chance I was looking for to turn my career around and revive the infamous club that is Leeds United. "What an oppurtunity this is!" I thought to myself, trying hard not to get too excited as it wasn't set in stone yet.[TABLE="width: 302, align: right"]

I had heard Redfearn was recently treated poorly by the chairman and that came to a surprise to me after he had seemingly turned their season around.
I was anxious, paranoid but mostly optimistic about meeting Massimo. It's strange but despite all the negativity that surrounded the club and current chariman, I couldn't help but think of this as a an oppurtunity I could only wish for; "Uwe Rosler, the new manager of the Leeds United". When you've seen and experienced the success United achieved, it's really hard not to end up drooling at the idea.
I met with Massimo today and we discussed football, tactics, club goals and history. We sat talking about the history of Leeds United for hours and how the fans have really got the short end of the stick for more than a decade. He seemed just as ambitious as me, he wanted this club back to where it belonged and he seemed to take a liking to my attitude. He was talking to me about the current team and how it's full of amazing young talent, he said that producing/signing young talent will be a system he'll be encouraging and has done since his Cagliari days. I could only agree that bringing in young talent is vital, especially in a league like the Championship. You want to build for the future, you need to be constantly improving and looking forward. It's a profitable and money saving system, you don't want to get stuck with a bunch of past-it footballers on silly wages. [TABLE="width: 350, align: right"]

We agreed that getting this club back would likely be a three year plan and if that wasn't achieved by then, then we had both failed our jobs and the fans. We already had some great players here, it's now all about keeping them here and improving. We can't be a selling club if we want to get out of this league and onto the good times. Onwards and upwards, "marching on together". He was seemingly impressed about my idea of introducing the style I had described as 'heavy metal' football.
I went away for a few days and was feeling pretty positive about how the interview went. I was already analysing Leeds' last seasons performance and videos, trying to find weaknesses to improve and what targets I should be looking to bring in. I was reading an article about Sam Byram and the interest he was receicing from Premier League clubs. I then recieved a call from Massimo. I didn't know what to think, my palms started getting sweaty, my knees got weak and my arms were heavy. I was losing myself. I turned my ipod off as the music was distracting me.
"He-hello?"
"Hi Uwe. I'm delighted to inform you that I want you to become the new head coach of Leeds United. You seemed very confident and ambitious in the interview, you are exactly what I want and I can't wait to start working with you."
I didn't understand half of it. I don't know if it was the accent or the excitement. He hung up and I sat there, hand still on phone just staring at my loptop with the biggest smile you'd ever see. I hadn't felt like this since my first goal for Man City back in the 90s.
"Leeds United, huh?" I thought to myself in disbelief.
Today I met up with Massimo again to confirm my position, sealing a contract with the club until 2015. It's now time to make this dream a reality.
