yeah maiden just use steaua tactic dnt change the tactic players team may confuse....good luck...

It's ok to change the tactics, just don't change the formation. Not sure what formation Steaua's is though.

yeah lee...i agreewith that...my opinion steaua's tactic not suitable for cl.. but good in league,fa n carling cup...i will try yours next game...tq lee

1st game with chelsea 1-1 (win pen 4-3) carling cup..

Updated the tactics a little and added in 5 different variations for different situations. Enjoy.

im still using this tactic as my away tactic:) its working heaven..also my tactic at home is 18-0-0...conceded only 7 goals in 18 games, thats pretty sexy

GO LEE ! ! :) Sorry that it was abit late it might of been me speaking to him ;)(wh)

great tactic mate..i use this for man utd and the results are great..
29-26-3-0 GF 64 GA 9

hope u can develope this tactic again :D

thx mate..

Glad to see you doing well Otonk. I wish Arsenal were doing that badly on my game, they're always right up there with me each season with about 80-90 points.

So far Ive won 2 out of 3 with it, losing away only to Everton 1-0! That darn Yakubu!
A great tactic though!

Its not working for me. Keep drawing and losing and when i win i just scrape a 2-1 with a dodgey last minute goal. Really frustrating.

Updated the first post with some newer screenshots.

started a season with liverpool, in the 9 league games i have played, won 4, drew 4 and lost the other.

in 9 league games i have only scored 8 goals, however only conceded 2.

was hoping for more, though i might not be choosing the correct tactics for the right matches,

generally liverpool are favs at home so i start with either control then switch to attack at h/t if its still level, or just go attack from the 1st min, but out of 4 hme lg games won 2 drew 2, against opposition you would really expect to beat.

away from home if i am fav i would use the same method as at home,

so my question is- in which situations do you use each tactics and from my brief description have i been using them right?

i do understand it takes time for a team to gel and i have made a couple of new signins as well, it may come good for me but thought i would post and see if anyone has any advice regarding this tactic set,

ps. also got beat at hme to bay mun 1-0 in first champ lge match although undeservedly so, drew 2nd away to galatasary 3-3, my highest scoring game,

I like to start games off with the standard tactic to see how things go and then switch to attacking/control depending on how things are going. I wouldn't use control to start games though as it's a bit slow and too patient to really find out much about your opposition.

Lee when what tactic do u tend to use on away games against average teams?? and when do you use the defend tactic? is it at home and away against teams like arsenal and man u?

Nice job Lee working a treat... 1 question the player instructions.... have you touched them or am i blind?(H)

Right just got hammered by Man U so serverely f^&*ked off that I not sure I can keep playing lol I have no idea how people win the league! I cant even win a game

i know exactly how you feel mate, i had a quick run through with man city thinking all that money would make it nice and easy for me to ease in.

finished fourth after spending 78 million. so i thought time to try a proper game with liverpool.

sold benayoun(15mil), pennant (25mil), and kuyt (30mil)

upto november and im sitting in 12th place.

im using the same tactic i used with city, building a team in the same sort of mould, albeit with arguably far superior players in each position, and i struggle to a draw against teams like stoke haha

I'm actually having my first bad season. My strikers have decided they just don't want to score at all. I have Bojan, Torres, and Laurito all with average ratings of about 6.1. It's only January and I'm already 14 points behind Arsenal who are top of the unbeaten so far.

Champions League and FA Cup are going great, but my league form is just terrible. Home losses too Derby and Middlesbrough.

I guess it just means I'll have to win every one of my games if I want to stand a chance of catching Arsenal up. Looks like my youngsters wont be getting any easy games at the end of the season.

Nice job Lee working a treat... 1 question the player instructions.... have you touched them or am i blind?(H)

Yup each position should have their own instructions.

your control tactic nice... away dominate arsenal with 1-0 beat it..
vesus liverpool draw 1-1

After my poor form in the league, which as far as I can tell wasn't anything to do with the tactic as I was still dominating all of the games I was losing and drawing (See the results here, if you're at all interested).

I decided to tweak my tactics a little bit to allow for a little more stability in the defensive areas. I've adopted the 5x5 approach this time with 5 players to defend and 5 players to attack and it seems to be working reasonably well. I managed to close the gap on Arsenal by 10 points but it was already too late in the season to catch them up completely so I ended up finishing 3rd just behind Man City.

On a good note though I was appointed the England manager one game into the 2014 World Cup, and inherited such a terrible team. I only had two fit strikers Sinclair and Vaughan who are both incredibly average. Walcott and Rooney were the other two forwards in the team but they were both injured for a few weeks. I managed to make it to the final beating Brazil (the hosts) and Italy on the way. I lost 3-2 in the final to France though, oh well I was only expected to make it to the Quarter Finals.

I'll keep testing these new tactics and I'll upload them if they're actually any good.
