I'm managing Leverkusen and I need a good left back who can play as a wing back. My budget is 7m.
Marcos Rojo looked very cheap but then his agent asks for 10m and Bernat and Coentrao ask for too much wages. :/
 
Buttner, not fantastic, but pretty good nevertheless, can usually pick him up for £3-5M can play LB,LWB,LM,LW and if I remember rightly he can be used on the right
 
Don't bother with Buttner only good against smaller teams, he gets terrorized when he plays anyone that's remotely decent. Downing played against him and he had a rating of 6.2, I mean come on. I would advise trying for Alex Sandro, sometimes can get him on the cheap or possibly Jetro Willems. Both solid defensively and can do their bit going forward.
 
Porto want more than 20m for Alex Sandro and Jetro Willems is out for 5 months...
 
In that case try jonathan silva? He can become very good, not a top top team but for leverkusen could be a good player and would be very cheap.
 
As England66 mentioned, Jonathon Silva isn't world class early on and needs trained as W/B but has awsome potential.

Dodo from Roma should be on budget & will do a job.

In 3rd transfer window on my current save & Arsenal have just transfer listed Filipe with an asking price of £4.9M

Salva Ruiz is another one for the future.
 
I'm in my first season. Ricardo Rodriguez joined Liverpool for 21m. Jonathan Silva is too defensive for my tactic. How about Christian Fuchs for a short term replacement? Anyone tried him?
 
Jose Enrique, not sure about his wage mind you? Guardado? Tremoulinas?
 
Will look at them. There's a guy called Caner Erkin at Besiktas who's available to be signed on a free. Has decent stats and scouts give him a 4* potential. Anyone tried him? Btw I'm using latest LFC update
 
Gabriel silva from udinese...very good brazilian attacking left back. I got him for 5.5 euros.
 
Caner Erkin is at Fenerbache and valued @ £11M in my 3rd season save but never played him. Guardado @ Inter & Tremoulinas @ Dynamo Kyiv for £10M & £5M respectively. Liverpool want £17M for Jose Enrique.

Gabriel Silva went back to Sao Paulo after flunking @ Udinese. Put in an enquiry and they want £4.3M for him.

Lucas Digne never really settled at PSG and is available for loan in 3rd season - might be worth a scout even though he is one of the more 'usual suspects' recommended.

Not really sure I can help you too much since I am a couple of seasons ahead but can mention couple of kids who developed into decent players...

Baba Rahman is playing for Furth in the German 2nd division and will only be 18 in your 1st season save but has 18 caps and developed quite well.

Nicolas Tagliafico is another youngster with good stats for pace, accelaration, crossong & dribbling (Olimpo - Argentinian league) who's natural position is LB & accomplished at ML but could easily be trained.
 
I just signed Caner Erkin on a free for Aston Villa looks very good :p very versatile too LB WBL ML AML :)
 
Corchia/Silva/Telles (may be too expensive)/Sime Vrsalko/Aurier
 
I went with Caner Erkin and he's been brilliant in his first game! Will report more later
 
Anyone else having problems with Jonathan Silva picking up too many bookings?

45 starts - 24 bookings and 2 red cards
 
Going back to real life, I can't believe the progress Caner's made over years. As a Gala fan, I've seen his terrible crosses when he played for us. Now he's just too good... In the game as well.

Btw I signed Kurzawa in my current save. His attributes are pretty decent and he's doing fine at the moment. Anyone else used him?
