Just started a season with Leicester City and I'm using the latest patch. I have told the board that I'm going to win the league, which will give me;

So what I'm asking is, who should I buy to improve my squad?
And who should I get rid of to gain some extra funds?

Also, does anyone else have experience managing Leicester City, and would you have any hints and tips for me?

Thanks in advance. :)

I have a wealth of experience with Leicester as its my home town club so i think ill be able to help you.

First of i think this is the strongest squad without any transfers
Ricardo
Naughton Hobbs Bamba Berner
Gallagher King Abe/Wellens Dyer
Vassell Yakubu

Gallagher is a free kick specialist as well as Abe. Play Gallagher wide midfielder.
Dyer is an awesome winger with pace so winger for him.
Abe or Wellens as the ball winners. And Kingy advanced playermaker.

Usually i just buy kids in the Championship and have fun so Raphael Holzhauser is like £3.5m and Cedric Bakambu is available for the same price. Nika Kvekeskiri (check spelling) is a real quality prospect and Taufic Guarch so if you decide to sell to get extra money then theyd be quality. Left back is abit weak but rotate with Van Aanholt and its fine.

Ive won the Championship first year with just Holzhauser and Bakambu coming in and with a few loans of your choice but dont under estimate Leicester as many do they have class in their squad. Concentrate on tactics. Vassel and Yakubu rarely go on form together but with Bakambu i play 1 or the other.

The best tip for lower leagues is just to have impact players on the bench. An exciting winger or a solid ball winner or someone that keeps the ball and just think about what your situation is in the game and throw on someone to seal the win.

If you go up throw everything at Davide Santon whose on a free.

On FM11 ive had many City games,
Won Carling Cup on 1 of the older patches and got to play-offs in year 1. 2nd season with the Europa League i didnt get out the group stage but i got promoted to the Prem. I then kept them up in season 3 and was solid mid table in season 4 before a new patch came out and lost interest.

Ive then had the Bakambu and Holzhauser + Loans game and won the Championship before a decent year in the Prem and a Europe pushing year in year 3 before i gave up again.

Also i started unemployed and went straight to Brentford in another game. Come Febuary Sven got sacked for being 5 points off the play-offs in 14th to which i surrendered my post at Brentford and got Leicester a play-off victory passage into the Premier League again.

Its a really easy challenge in the Championship so keep buying down to a minimum or kids and then build for Premier League.

Good Luck.

Sebastien Blanco is a work horse wide midfielder who plays with a captain influence. He can carry a team in the right mid spot. Awesome player so keep him in mind for the Premier League. SANDRO from Spurs is a loan option for the Prem as well. Highly reccomend him.
Dedryck Boyata, Gabriel Obertan, Kiko Macheda, Aaron Ramsey, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Chris Wood, Yaya Sanogo are all loanable with Jeffrey Bruma, Giovani Dos Santos, Danny Wilson.

2nd year options again, Kranjcar, Woodgate, Gallas, Bentley, Giovani dos Santos and O'Hara.
Adebayor, Michael Johnson, Kolo Toure, Jerome Boateng, Craig Bellamy, Roque Santa Cruz, Filipe Caicedo.
The big clubs throw away so much quality in year 2 and 3 you can sweep up many a bargain so look out for that.
Sebastien Jung and Danny Da Costa, quality young right backs once Kyle Naughton goes back.
