Lfc 4-2-3-1 narrow

Going to give a 4-2-3-1 narrow a go with liverpool team will be gk Mignolet/rb Johnson /lb enrique /CB's Agger/balance / bwm romeo /dlp Gerrard /cam Suarez/countiho/Honda /p long.......... Any team instructions or changes people can add! Cheers

Suarez's PPM's will pull him forward and he won't offer much in the way of droping deep to provide assists for Long so be sure to play him either left or right on the ACM in an attacking duty: You want him scoring goals since he's too selfish to do anything else :P

Set both your CM's to defensive/supporting roles since the attacking 4 (plus Wing backs?) will leave you very vulnerable to counter attacks out wide.



I love 4-2-3-1 narrow formations since you can get some fantastic football out of a well oiled and tested tactic!

Yes I would play him left and thanks for the advice might also add a 4-5-1 with inside forwards for away/tough games!

Remember, using a BWM role in a 4-2-3-1 is a big no no. You need two players in the MC role who will hold position and provide cover, not one to go tearing around the pitch.
