Life After Moyes - A Manchester United Story!

Due to the recent sacking of David Moyes, I have decided to create a story starting at the beginning of the 2014/15 season. I have created a custom database that has the cup winners, promotions and relegations already done. For the promotions and relegations, I have used the current league standings to decide which teams will be going up/down. For example, Sunderland, Fulham and Cardiff (current Prem Bottom 3) are relegated to SkyBet Championship, and have been replaced with Leicester, Burnley and Derby County (current Championship Top 3), and so on.

I will not be managing a team in this story. I am going to be allowing the game engine to decide who takes over at Manchester United, and who gets bought/sold. So ANYTHING could happen! Sorry about the long opening section, I just wanted to explain how the scenario has come about, and how the save will work.

I will be starting this story within the next hour, so just keep on looking

BREAKING NEWS: MANCHESTER UNITED APPOINT VILLAS-BOAS AS NEW MANAGER!

Manchester United have announced that Andre Villas-Boas has taken over as manager of the club. The appointment of the former Spurs manager is set to raise a few questions amongst the fans, who wanted to see Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp take over at the club. The board have released the following statement.

'We are pleased to announce the appointment of Andre Villas-Boas as the new manager of Manchester United. After speaking with Villas-Boas, we agreed that the club needed to perform better than last season, and our main aim for the season will be to regain the Premier League title from our rivals, Liverpool.

We can confirm that Villas-Boas has signed a three-year deal with the club, and will have our full support during his tenure.'

Villas-Boas' first competitive game in charge of the Red Devils will be a home game against West Ham United in the Premier League.
